We are currently looking for:
Capacity Planner – Modeller
Location: Melbourne, Australia
Position: This is a contractor position. Rate available on application. Please no third party vendors or agencies.
Description:
- Work with operations teams to influence the choice of new architectures and solutions for our client site.
- Work on generating long term forecasts and reports for our client site as well as detecting and explaining anomalies and changes in site trends.
- Participate on data validation and collection activities.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and technical communication skills
- Strong experience on data analysis and systems modeling
- Proven programming skills and solid knowledge of Perl, Python, Java, Ruby and other scripting languages
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux
- Proficiency in web architectures and server architectures
- SAS programming and experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with capacity modeling tools such as HyPerformix, Workbench, BMC is a plus.
